About Me

Hi, I’m Mandy — a photographer with over 14 years of experience, focused on capturing natural, candid moments. My work follows a documentary approach, where I prioritize real emotions, in-between moments, and clean storytelling without over-directing. I primarily work with natural light and use flash only when required, ensuring consistency while adapting to different lighting conditions.

Photography and travel have always gone hand in hand for me. Exploring new places, meeting different people, and documenting moments during my travels is how I truly learned my camera and developed my eye for storytelling. Being on the road taught me to observe light, emotions, and fleeting moments in a natural way.

Alongside photography, I’m also a watercolor artist. Painting has been a part of me since childhood — a hobby that slowly shaped the way I see colors, composition, and emotion. It has deeply influenced both my graphic design work and my photography style, helping me create images with a more artistic and thoughtful approach.

I’m comfortable working both as a lead photographer and as a second shooter. I understand the flow of wedding days, can adapt quickly in fast-paced environments, and work in sync with the team to ensure nothing important is missed.

I regularly travel between India and Canada during wedding seasons and am open to assignments in both locations. I can communicate comfortably in English, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu.
